NIA students to benefit from athlete mentoring opportunity

We are thrilled to be working with the Mintridge Foundation to offer a special mentoring opportunity to 10 of our students across the Trust.

Eight students from Prince William School and two learners from Northampton International Academy have been paired with a Team GB athlete who will act as a mentor to them over the next six months.

The mentors and their mentees will meet fortnightly to talk about building resilience and confidence, working hard and overcoming setbacks.

The pairs are:

  • Ben Gallagher (para-rowing) and PWS student Joshua Smith
  • Bobby Copping (football) and PWS student Sam Judge
  • Caragh McMurtry (Olympic rower) and PWS student Freya Sweeney
  • Grace Harvey (Paralympic swimmer) and PWS student Jack Robertson
  • Heather Fell (Olympic modern pentathlon) and PWS student Issy Howser
  • Laura Delgado (rugby union) with NIA student Morell Phillips
  • Nekoda Smythe-Davis (Olympic judo) with PWS student Amelia De-Silva
  • Sammie Harris (rugby union) with PWS student Lamiah Thomas
  • Sarah Jones (Olympic hockey) with PWS student Grace Moreland
