Computing - Primary
The Computing curriculum at NIA Primary will aim to give our learners the life-skills to enable them to embrace and utilise new technology in a socially responsible and safe way.
We want our children to operate in the 21st-century and become autonomous, independent users of computing technologies, gaining confidence and enjoyment from their activities. The use of technology will support learning across the entire curriculum, helping them to develop creativity, resilience, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. We want children to become digitally literate and competent users of technology, taught through a curriculum that is accessible to every child. Opportunities will be given to our learners to have a breadth of experience to build their understanding of themselves as individuals within their local community, as well as responsible digital citizens in the wider global community.
