Nominations for this year’s #EMATters Celebration Awards are now open!
Here's the full list of categories for this year:
- Inspirational Pupil - This could reflect academic success, or a sporting or extra-curricular achievement eg sports, arts, etc or overcoming adversity to achieve.
- Teacher of the Year - to honour a teacher who goes above and beyond for their pupils
- Beyond the Classroom Award - to recognise an amazing support staff member, for example an unsung teaching assistant, receptionist, site staff, catering staff and more,
- SEND Star of the Year - to honour excellence and dedication from a pupil with special educational needs
- Inclusion Award - for staff/pupils who have made a difference and shone a light on inclusion, for example within SEND, cultural diversity etc.
- Eco-Award - for staff/pupils who have raised eco-awareness or helped to make their school more environmentally friendly
- Volunteer of the Year - to recognise the efforts of all the volunteers that contribute to school life
- Achievement Award - to recognise a pupil who goes the extra mile, perhaps they are a great team player or they regularly go above and beyond to contribute to school life. The winner of this category will be chosen by Pupil Parliament members
The deadline to nominate is 6th May 2025. Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony in July.
