t's not often that our busy school is completely silent but it was very moving to see pupils and staff across the school standing silently to mark Armistice Day this morning (11th November).
Our two-minute silence was led by our amazing new Combined Cadet Force. The new cadets have only had two sessions so far but have quickly started learning the basics and we are very proud of how well they participated today.
CCF programmes have been shown to make a real difference to young people, helping them to develop the life skills and self-confidence they need to take charge of their lives so that they can reach their full potential at school, in employment and beyond.
