Schools from across the county are being invited to attend an event supported by Ofsted and neighbouring local authorities to look at the new inspection framework and how it relates to exclusions.
The free event will take place at Northampton International Academy, which is part of the East Midlands Academy Trust, on Thursday 28th March from 9am to 1pm.
There will be a keynote speech from Emma Ing, Ofsted regional director, and workshops with representatives from Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire county councils to understand their learning in reducing exclusions.
The event will be an opportunity for Northamptonshire schools to work together and begin discussions about how we can reduce the number of permanent exclusions in a practical way.
