A Level

There are two possible routes for A level study:

  • choose three (four with consultation at interview depending on academic report) A level subjects or
  • choose one A level subject alongside a BTEC Diploma.

We are currently offering 14 different A level subjects that are listed below:

Please note: Courses may be subject to change according to demand and timetabling constrictions.

Art  **Biology
**Chemistry  **Computer Science
**English Literature Business
**History **Geography
**Mathematics **Psychology
**Physics Product Design
Sociology **Spanish
Drama

** 'Facilitating' Subject 

* Russell Group 'Desirable'

 

Pathway Suggested Subjects
Academic/University Any Combination of subjects, with at least one 'desirable' Russell Group subject and a 'facilitating' subject
Medicine Chemistry and Biology, with either Physics or Maths
Law

Any combination of subjects with at least two 'desirable' Russell group subjects. You do not need Law at A level to study Law at university

Engineering Physics and Maths with Computer Science
Life Science At least two from Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and PE
Psychology Psychology, Biology and any other 'desirable' Russell Group subject
Creative and Media Any combination of subjects. this may include Art, Media, Music, Performing Arts or English
Vocational Applied Science, IT, Business, Product Design, Health and Social Care.
